Wells Status Validation Service

Reflecting the mechanical status of a wellbore, the Well Status Diagram is an important document for planning and safety purposes for all Operators. The integrity of the WSD can be compromised by poor data maintenance, resulting in operational problems and wasted resources.

Nexus have developed a process to effectively manage the prioritisation, data gathering and collation of well-related information from multiple current, historical and third party sources. This information is then validated and audited by highly competent and experienced Completion/Validation Engineers to deliver an amended WSD that more accurately reflects current well status.

Nexus are innovators in providing this service and are able to demonstrate a track record with this innovative service for Operators. Nexus have completed a 33-month Validation Project for this major Operator on time and on budget. This represented over 750 wells and utilised a full-time Validation Team scaled to meet the requirements of the customer.

The validation project identified anomalies ranging from minor changes to recorded depths to major omissions or incorrectly recorded data such as operating status.
